Have you ever wished you could learn more about gardening, and improve your skills in the comfort of your own garden, learning more about the plants, soil and surrounding environment as you do so? Perhaps you’re feeling a bit stuck, and would like some help in developing or changing the plants or layout.
I can offer one-to-one or small group lessons, based on the subjects you’d like to find out more about, such as planning and designing your site, pruning, plant identification, growing fruit and vegetables, herbs, choosing the right plants for the right place, planting, making compost and liquid feeds, how to identify weeds, sow seeds and take cuttings. You may already be a student on a horticulture course and want some extra practical experience. Alternatively, you may simply have no idea where to start, be a complete beginner, and want some help. Lessons are usually between 1 – 2 hours, informal, tailored to the needs of both you and your garden, full of information, inspiring and enjoyable.
Gift vouchers are also available, for birthdays and special occasions.
